    FAW Toyota’s new project officially launched
    On June 29th, FAW Toyota New Energy Branch project kick-off event was held in Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city. The start of the FAW Toyota New Energy Branch project will increase the annual industrial output value by 50 billion yuan and pay more than 3 billion yuan in taxes. At the same time, a group of related supporting enterprises will come here to invest and build factories to form a new energy industry cluster and increase industrial output value. More than 30 billion yuan is expected to become a powerful engine for the quality and growth of the economy in Tianjin and even the entire North China region.
    The newly launched FAW Toyota Tianjin New Energy Plant is located in the planned industrial zone in the northern part of the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city. According to the construction plan, the project will be completed and put into production in June 2022, effectively increasing the production capacity of FAW Toyota’s “HEV (hybrid electric vehicle)” and “EV (pure electric vehicle)”. It is estimated that the annual industrial output value will be 50 billion yuan.
    The project of FAW Toyota New Energy Branch will integrate Toyota’s most advanced technology in the world. It is an important step in the strategic alliance between FAW Group and Toyota Group in Japan to deploy new energy intelligent networked vehicles in the country, marking FAW Toyota’s acceleration in transformation and upgrading A new stage of development.
